Who We Are
Learn about Friends of Fondacioni Firdeus Inc. Founded in 2019, we strive to provide aid and resources to vulnerable children and families in Albania.
Friends of Fondacioni Firdeus was established in 2019 by a group of volunteers who shared similar principles and beliefs and had a strong desire to assist the less fortunate. We are a non-governmental, humanitarian, philanthropic, and cultural organization that aims to improve the lives of Albanians by addressing issues of poverty, suffering, and homelessness. The foundation strives to foster a sense of solidarity among Albanian-speaking communities within the country and the diaspora.
Through its various empowerment and development programs, our foundation has directly impacted the lives of many Albanians. Its mission is encapsulated in its motto:
“Whoever saves a life, it is as if he has saved all mankind”
(Al-Ma’idah, 5:32)
Our Mission
Our mission is to be a shining example of positivity and virtue, embodying the values of charity, humanity, solidarity, and sacrifice. By radiating this goodness and kindness throughout, we hope to inspire and encourage others to do the same, creating a ripple effect of generosity and compassion that reaches every corner of Albanian lands and beyond. Brave Little Warriors
Friends of Fondacioni Firdeus places a high priority on its Brave Little Warriors program, which aims to provide assistance to children suffering from serious or chronic illnesses who are unable to afford the cost of medical treatment due to financial constraints. Homes for Hope
Homes for Hope is a program dedicated to providing safe and affordable housing for very poor families who are in dire need of assistance to ensure that these families have a secure and stable place to live. We also focus on helping families affected by natural disasters, like earthquakes, by assisting them in rebuilding and creating a better future for themselves and their communities. We understand that access to safe and affordable housing is a fundamental human need, and we believe that every family deserves a home they can call their own.
Nourishing Lives
Nourishing Lives is a program dedicated to providing food and clothing assistance to low-income individuals and families who are struggling to meet their basic needs. Our program aims to alleviate hunger and poverty by providing nutritious meals and clothing to those in need. We understand that access to adequate food and clothing is a fundamental human need, and we believe that every person deserves to have their basic needs met.
Education for All
Education is a vital aspect of our mission, as we firmly believe that providing education to children is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and creating opportunities for a safer and brighter future. We understand that education is not only important for personal development but also for the development of society as a whole.
